Serving customers with robots at a restaurant in Jazan Kindom of Saudi Arabia

We've all been to restaurants where the waiter will come with a pasta salad instead of a chicken biryani.

According to Arab News, there is no such problem in the robot restaurant in Jazan area of Saudi Arabia. As the name suggests, the waiter here is not a man who makes such mistakes, but a robot with the best artificial intelligence.

There are 6 robot assistants working in a restaurant serving a city center restaurant to deliver trays of Asian food to customers.

In fact, in the wake of the Corona virus epidemic, this modern system was introduced as a precaution to reduce human contact.

Since then, this robot system has become very popular among the customers who come here.

This whole system has been developed by Saudi female engineer Reham Umran. Regular sensors have been installed inside the restaurant for this system.

Thanks to these sensors, these robots can move around the restaurant and deliver food to the customers there.

Engineer Reham Umran told Arab News that these robots can sense the existence of anything standing near them, so they stop walking or change their path accordingly.

This ability is also due to the sensors inside the robot.

Each robot's memory contains an internal map of the restaurant, while the distance and location of each table is also programmed inside the robots.

When the robot reaches the desired table, customers can pick up the ordered food and order the robot to return.

Reham Omar added that the idea has been implemented in collaboration with the Saudi government for maps and food industries based on the experiences of other countries.

Reham Omar made it clear that no matter how small our plan is, we are proud of it. Consumers are not only interested in robots but are also impressed with the idea.

'Cultures are changing' he said. People want to discover new technologies that can improve their quality of life.
